착한 일

 

 

“여보, 당신도 이제 남들한테 착한 일 하시구려.”

밖으로 나가는 남편에게 아내는 착한 일 몇 가지를 손에 쥐어 주었어요.

“알았어요.”

남편은 그걸 받아서 안주머니 속에 깊숙이 찔러 넣었어요.

그러자 아내가 말했어요.

“여보, 그건 안주머니 속에 넣지 말고 바깥 주머니에 넣어 두세요. 언제라도 빨리 꺼낼 수 있어야 하니까요.”

A good deed

 

 

"Honey, you should be good to others now."

My wife had some good things in her hands to her husband who was going outside.

"I got it."

My husband got it and poked it deep into his inner pocket.

Then my wife said.

"Honey, don't put it in your inner pocket, but in your outer pocket, for you should be able to get it out anytime soon."
