솟아올라라.

뻗어보아라.

하늘을 향해라.

 

나를 둘러싼 테두리 속 나

한 번은 돌아보아라.

 

나의 성숙함은

나이테의 늘어남과

함께 자라난다.

 

뿌리가 뻗어나가듯

나의 강인함은 함께 자라난다.

 

곧게 뻗은 나무는

쉽게 꺾이나

굴곡진 인생사

굽이굽이 휘어진 나무와 같다.
